18th & 19th Century Furniture Archive
Holly Johnson Antiques has always dealt in the finest items of furniture from the end of the 18th and the
19th centuries. We are specifically interested in items of furniture designed by individual makers such as
William Trotter, George Bullock and John Mclean. Especially 18th and 19th century pieces which were made for
specific country houses and which carry a good provenance.
Another area in which we have dealt in over the last 18 years is individually designed items produced for the
Great Exhibitions of the 19th century. Furniture by the likes of; Wright and Mansfield, Lamb of Manchester,
Holland and Son, Jackson and Graham. We have found that as fashions come in and out, nothing can compete against
the amazing quality of craftsmanship which these firms produced. This factor passes the test of time.
