20th Century Design For the last 15 years Holly Johnson Antiques has dealt in individual and iconic items of design from the 20th century. Art Deco furniture made in Paris by the leading decorators such as Dominique, Ruhlmann, Leleu etc. Mid-century furniture made by the elegant and witty designers from Milan such as Ponti, Borsini, Tura, Buffa. Beautifully hand crated items made by the great British makers , the likes of Gordon Russell, Heritage, Andrew Milne, Robert “Mouseman” Thompson etc. And recently the colourful items of lighting and furniture created by the Memphis group and Ettore Sottsass from the early 80’s. We have always had a passion for specific individually designed items of furniture from the 20th century. It is very much an interesting and a growing market.
