An elegant Teak set of drawers by Neil Morris, for Morris of Glasgow.
Two banks of four drawers each with ribbed fronts and inset handles on tapering legs.
Morris of Glasgow began 1904. Neil was the driving force of the company once he joined his father in the business. Various commissions included Gleneagles Hotel in 1924 and The Queen Mary Liner in 1934. In 1934 they produced a WEDDING Present for Queen Elizabeth II- a complete bedroom suite made from the sycamore from the Balmoral Estate.
