Wonderful organic design in beautiful solid rosewood. The vertical back splats of twisted skeleton form.

Literature: Designed in 1947 and manufactured by Mines and West Limited of High Wycombe.
Milne is a highly regarded post war furniture best known for his perforated sheet steel armchair, created for the festival of Britain in 1951. A good example held at the V & A Museum, London.
